This warranty outlines our commitment to quality, incorporating robust protections to prevent misuse and ensure clarity for all customers.

Standard Warranty — Gruhome Circle and Select Members

Every Gruhome product purchased by Gruhome Circle (free membership) and Select (₹2,500/year) members comes with a limited warranty, starting from the date of delivery, covering:

• Manufacturing Defects: Imperfections in frame, structure, or workmanship that impair the use of the product.
• Hardware Failures: Defects in legs, joints, supports, and mechanical components.
• Functional Performance: Ensuring the product operates as intended for daily residential use under normal conditions.

Warranty Periods:

• Gruhome Circle: 1-year warranty
• Gruhome Select: 3-year warranty

Not Covered:

• Upholstery (fabric/leather): Wear, fading, pilling, staining, or tearing due to normal use or improper care.
• Foam and cushions: Natural softening, settling, or compression over time.
• Surface blemishes: Scratches, dents, chipping, or fading from regular use or exposure.
• Natural material characteristics: Variations, knots, checks, blemishes, or patina in wood, veneer, rattan, stone, or leather, as these are inherent to natural materials and not defects.
• Glass imperfections: Bubbles, lines, or slight surface imperfections in handcrafted glass, as these are characteristic of the craft.
• Damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper handling, assembly, maintenance, or storage.
• Damage from exposure to unsuitable environments, including direct sunlight, heat sources, moisture, humidity, glass doors/windows, or chemical/aggressive cleaning agents.
• Damage from accidents, spills, water, pests, fire, or acts of nature.
• Modifications, reupholstering, or repairs by anyone other than Gruhome or its authorized partners.
• Commercial or rental use: Warranty applies only to personal residential use.
• Normal wear and tear, including gradual fading of polish or powder paint corrosion.
• Buttons on tufted products, as their usage is beyond Gruhome’s control.

Extended 8-Year Warranty — Gruhome Reserve and Elite Members

Gruhome Reserve (₹7,500/year) and Elite (Invite-Only) members receive an 8-year extended structural warranty, starting from the date of delivery, covering:

• Structural Integrity: Frames, joinery, hardware, and mechanisms.
• Priority Repair Services: Faster resolution times for qualifying issues, subject to inspection. Elite members receive enhanced priority handling.

Exclusions:

• Upholstery and surface wear: Fabric/leather fading, pilling, staining, or tearing.
• Surface blemishes: Scratches, dents, chipping, or fading from regular use or exposure.
• Foam compression, fabric aging, color changes, or minor cosmetic shifts.
• Natural material characteristics: Variations, blemishes, or patina in wood, veneer, rattan, stone, or leather.
• Glass imperfections: Bubbles, lines, or slight surface imperfections in handcrafted glass.
• Damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper handling, assembly, maintenance, or storage.
• Damage from exposure to unsuitable environments (sunlight, heat, moisture, humidity, or chemicalAla cleaners).
• Damage from accidents, spills, water, pests, fire, or acts of nature.

The Gruhome Quality Promise

Even after your warranty expires, our Quality Promise ensures continued support:

• For significant craftsmanship defects identified post-warranty, Gruhome may, at its sole discretion, offer repair, replacement parts, or partial credit following a fair-use assessment.
• Valid only for the original purchaser with proof of purchase, at the original delivery address.
• Nominal repair or transport costs may apply.
• Gruhome reserves the right to inspect the product (virtually or in person) before approving any resolution.

Important Warranty Terms

• Proof of Purchase: Mandatory for all claims. Keep your receipt to validate warranty eligibility.
• Gruhome Select and Reserve Registration: Select and Reserve members must register products within 30 days of purchase to activate extended warranty coverage (3 years for Select, 8 years for Reserve).
• Non-Transferable: Warranties apply only to the original purchaser at the original delivery address and are void if the product is sold, gifted, or reupholstered/repaired by unauthorized parties.
• Inspection Rights: Gruhome reserves the right to inspect products (virtually or in person) before approving claims. Visible defects or order discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery, or they are deemed acceptable and not covered.
• Resolution Limits: Warranty resolutions are limited to repair, replacement with furniture of equal value to the original purchase price, or Gruhome credit. No cash refunds are available.
• Service Fees: Fees for service visits may apply based on location.
• Liability: Gruhome is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential losses, nor for damages exceeding the original purchase price.
• Warranty Period: The warranty starts on delivery and terminates upon expiry (1 year for Circle, 3 years for Select, 8 years for Reserve and Elite), even if the product is unused or uninstalled during the period.
• Claim Process: Report defects to Gruhome customer service at hello@gruhome.in during the warranty period. Response times vary based on claim nature, product location, and resource availability. Gruhome will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product, subject to warranty terms.
• No Extension: Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
