Gruhome Shipping Policy

At Gruhome, every piece is crafted especially for you, ensuring superior quality and attention to detail. To maintain the highest standards, we follow a meticulous made-to-order production model. Please read our shipping guidelines carefully to understand the timelines and processes involved.
1. Order Processing & Lead Times

Made-to-Order Furniture: Our furniture is handcrafted on order. Production timelines typically range between 3 to 5 weeks from the date of order confirmation and payment receipt.

Ready-to-Ship Products: Select décor items and accessories marked as 'Ready to Ship' are dispatched within 7 business days.

Swatch Orders: Fabric swatches are dispatched within 5-7 business days.
2. Shipping & Delivery

Furniture Deliveries: All furniture orders are delivered via our trusted logistic partners using professional handling services to minimize damage risk.

Doorstep Delivery (Ground Floor): Standard delivery includes ground floor delivery. Any deliveries requiring stair carry or specific floor-based delivery must be pre-arranged and may attract additional charges.

White Glove Service (Optional): For select pin codes, we offer installation and placement services at an additional cost. Please contact us to check availability in your area.

Split Deliveries: If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped separately depending on product readiness.
3. Shipping Areas & Charges

Pan-India Shipping: We currently deliver across major cities and towns in India. For remote areas, delivery availability will be confirmed upon order.

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are calculated based on product type, order volume, and delivery location, and are communicated at checkout.

International Shipping: Currently, we do not offer international shipping.
4. Packaging

Custom Crating for Furniture: To ensure safe transit, furniture is packed in protective crates with eco-friendly materials wherever possible.

Damage-Resistant Packaging: Small products are packed using multiple layers of cushioning to prevent transit damages.
5. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen production delays, logistics bottlenecks, or regional restrictions. Gruhome shall not be held responsible for delays caused by third-party logistics providers, acts of God, or force majeure events.

Any significant changes in delivery timelines will be communicated proactively.
6. Ensuring the Product Fits in Your Space
Before ordering large furniture pieces, please ensure you have enough space to accommodate the product. Dimensions are listed on each product page. We recommend marking the width and depth on the floor using masking tape or newspaper to visualize the footprint. Check wall clearance to avoid clashes with windows, curtain rods, wall lights, or other fixtures. Ensure adequate walking space around the product and enough clearance for any doors, drawers, or extendable fittings to open freely.
7. Ensuring Access into Your Home
Most of our furniture is crated for protection. Please add 8 inches to the product's width, depth, and height to account for packaging when measuring doorways, hallways, staircases, and lifts. Confirm that there is sufficient clearance, including turning space, to move the item into your home. We recommend keeping the crating intact until the furniture is placed in its intended space to prevent accidental damage during handling.
8. Ensuring Smooth Delivery

Our delivery partners may contact you prior to delivery but we cannot guarantee advance calls as they operate independently.

We recommend you track your order through the tracking details provided.

If you will be unavailable to receive delivery, please notify us in advance at hello@gruhome.in.

Please ensure correct address, pin code, and contact information is provided at checkout to avoid delays.

Delivery personnel are required to deliver to the building’s ground floor. If the item fits into a lift, they may assist with doorstep delivery, subject to their discretion. You may need to arrange your own manpower for higher floor deliveries.

Delivery personnel are not authorized to open packaging or wait during unpacking. Please do not insist on these services.
9. In Case of Damaged Packaging
If you notice any visible damage to packaging, take photographs and notify us within 48 hours at hello@gruhome.in. Make a note of damages on the delivery slip and retain a signed copy. We advise opening the packaging with the help of a local carpenter to inspect the product immediately.
10. Opening the Packaging and Assembly
Our furniture is securely packed using bubble wrap, foam, corner guards, cardboard, and crates to minimize transit damage. Delivery staff are not authorized to unpack or assemble products. Please arrange your own assistance to unpack and assemble furniture safely.
11. Dispatch & Delivery Restrictions
If your order is delayed due to your unavailability and held at our warehouse beyond 2 weeks, a Holding Cost of 5% of the order value per month + 18% GST applies. Dispatch will resume only after full payment of holding charges.
12. Change of Address Post Order
Address changes must be requested within 7 days of placing the order. Any changes requested later may incur additional charges or may not be accommodated.
13. Restricted Locations
Delivery to certain remote pin codes, hill stations, or difficult terrains may not be feasible. In such cases, our team will reach out to offer alternatives or a full refund.
